| Auction Information |
What is an Unreserved Public Auction?
It is an auction whereby EVERYTHING IS SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. ALL ITEMS
WILL BE SOLD AT THE HIGHEST BID PRICE. May I test the units?
Yes. During the inspection dates, we will lend you the keys of most of the
units. To help you make a better judgment, you may bring your own mechanic or
technician to help you test the units. Is there a fee for registration?
NO. REGISTRATION IS FREE. You just need to bring the following:1. Valid photo I.D. 2. Refundable deposit of P100,000.00 (Cash or Manager's Check / Demand Draft) drawn on any universal bank payable to ASIA INTERNATIONAL AUCTIONEERS, INC. We will not accept out-of-town checks. How do I register?
You will need to fill out an Application for Registration/Agreement Form and
pay the required deposit. We will give you a Bid Book and Listing Catalog with
a corresponding Bidder Number. What do I do with the Bid Book?
The Bid Book lists the items up for sale in the order by which they will be
sold. During the bidding proper, all you have to do is raise your Bid Book to
signify your desire in bidding for a particular unit. You will be responsible
for all purchases applied to your Bidder Number, regardless as to whether the
bid was made by you or your friend or your family members. How does the actual bidding go?
When the auction begins, AIA "bid catchers" will be stationed near the unit
being sold. They will assist you in the bidding process by signaling your bid
to the Auctioneer and by letting you know when you need to bid again. If your
bid is the highest and no other bidder increases your bid amount, the item is
sold to you and your bidder number is called and recorded as the successful
Buyer. How about if the highest bid received for a unit is P100.00?
We will sell the unit at P100.00. If I don't win anything, how much will be my refund and when
can I get it?
You can get your FULL REFUND ON THE SAME DAY. If I win, what do I have to pay?
Upon winning, we will deduct the P100,000.00 deposit from your total purchase
price. You will only have to pay the balance plus the corresponding motor
vehicle registration fees, if applicable (kindly inquire from the AIA
Registration Office for details). Applicable Philippine Taxes and Duties prior
to registration are paid. How do I pay the items?
Payment can be made via cash or check to the AIA Registration Office or via
deposit to any of our bank accounts (please inquire from same Office for
details). Full payment must be made on or before the published deadline
indicated in the Bid Book. How do I pull out the units?
Upon full payment, we will issue you complete documents for your purchases and
authority to pull out. Removal and pull out of units are buyer's
responsibility. You may choose any trucking/shipping company to bring out your
units to your desired destination. Can we buy one unit only?
Yes. In our auctions, "lot" hardly refers to bulk purchases. Units like trucks,
equipment, vans, and even construction machines are sold INDIVIDUALLY. What about LTO registration?
All units requiring registration have been processes with the Land
Transportation Office (LTO) under the name of AIA. Corresponding fees
pertaining to said registration shall be added to your total purchases.
Likewise, transfer of ownership will be for the account of the buyer.
Auctioneer may facilitate said transfer subject to buyer's payment of transfer
fees. |
